Sandro Mele (Lecce, 1970); he lives and works in Rome. Sandro Mele’s artistic research is concerned with employment other than different status and the consequent social dynamics. His work transforms documentation into interpretation. Using workers and their stories, a rare and important reality is narrated through: videos, photography, installation and audio. Mele gathers the experience of several identities and then composes them into stories. He lets people give their own account and opinion, without any sense of dispossession
